How to define your career goal: practical exercise

For a good definition of your career goal, I recommend this self-analysis or of yourself: SWOT ANALYSIS

PERSONAL:

How to get the best version of yourself-a?

What should I ask before starting a job?, And thus have a better focus on your job search?

How am I?

How am I good?

What things motivate me? What I miss the time without realizing it? What kinds of things I pay attention?

What stands out? What is my value?

What needs improvement?

What are my values? What do you give importance? Distribute list of values. Exposing the 10 most important.

reading What attracted me? What I read blogs?

How do I look and how others see me? Ask your friends and family strengths and weaknesses, to compare them with yours?

What skills demand in my area (specific)?

Of all these, which I have, and what I'm missing?

To take stock of our strengths and weaknesses as a people do the following exercise:

Find 5 strengths that you tend

Search weaknesses or areas for improvement

Find what are the threats that affect your job search

Find what are the opportunities.

What career I have with my studies?

Which one interests me more?

Finally .... What is your career goal ? Define it, leaning on the above.

the end of this year, will be clear what your career goal, what do you want to devote your professional life, which is your mission in the workplace and personal.
